Forum Title: repairing cracks in concrete swale

There is a concrete swale next to my old house and a section of it has developed some cracks. Many of the cracks are fine with a few larger 1/8-1/4 ones. I'd like to find an easy way to stop any water leaking through the cracks. Appearance is not an issue, right now I just want to do something before the next time it rains. Can I make up a mixture of cement, sand and water and drizzle it down into the larger cracks? Cover the smaller cracks with a layer of cement? I'm open to any suggestions, temporary or otherwise.
